The Honey Collection has extensively researched available preservative systems used in cosmetic formulations to find a system that is effective and meets with our philosophy.  The system we have chosen is paraben and formaldehyde free, is gentle and effective.

The preservative system has to perform two important roles.   The product must be stable while on the shelf, but more importantly the preservative system must prevent contamination after the product has been opened.

The system we have chosen has been rigorously tested both in the laboratory and in the market.   It offers broad spectrum protection against both gram negative and gram positive bacteria and a wide range of yeasts and moulds.
